Martin Aalto has been appointed as Business Development Manager
We are pleased to announce Martin Aalto has returned to Grexel from 28.3.2022. As our new Business Development Manager, he will help us deliver our solutions efficiently and develop them further. He will take the lead in new development projects and play a crucial role in the rollout of our new cloud-based G-REX system. He will also participate in the development of new business initiatives.
Aalto started his career at Grexel almost 10 years ago. “From last time around, I am very familiar with Energy Certificates and the technical structure of our registries. Between 2013 and 2016 I worked closely with registry deliveries and API projects. At Grexel this naturally also meant close cooperation with our customers”, says Aalto.
During the past years, Aalto has worked at Granlund. With a team of leading energy and sustainability experts, he helped actors in the real estate sector set, plan, and achieve their energy and sustainability goals as well as develop their digital capabilities. This time broadened his understanding of the role of sustainability and its management. It also allowed him to see the role of Energy Attribute Certificates in different corporate responsibility and carbon neutrality commitments.
”I can’t express how excited I am to have Martin back in the team. He is your dictionary definition of positive attitude combined with a razor-sharp head. During the first week he has already integrated seamlessly into the team and enforced our G-REX design and project management.”, comments Grexel CEO Markus Klimscheffskij.
“I can also strongly relate to his comment above having worked in sustainability consulting while away from Grexel. It’s hard to grasp the effect of GOs on corporate sustainability when working from inside the field. It’s when you work with the companies as a consultant, you understand the key role of GOs.”, Klimscheffskij further elaborates.
Aalto is very excited to be back, too: “The everyday work at Grexel is a rare combination of software development and consulting on key areas of future sustainable business. I am also looking forward to cooperating with our international and diverse customer base. In these first weeks I have been extremely excited about starting the new projects and for software development being a part of my job description again. In addition to the work content, the warm atmosphere at Grexel and the Grexel spirit are sure to make my days.”
“Grexel is growing and we have started several important and large registry projects this March and April. The addition of Martin into the team is a key enabler of our growth path. He ensures high-quality project management and technical design in the projects at hand and those starting in the future”, Klimscheffskij concludes.
