Standard compliance off the shelf
G-REX is and will always be compliant with European level regulation, standards, and industry agreements. These include Directive (EU) 2018/2001 (RED II), Standard CEN-EN 16325 and European Energy Certificate System (EECS).
All European Guarantee of Origin schemes must comply with the directive 2018/2001 (RED II) and its predecessor 2009/28/EC (RED I). The RED II also introduced the Standard CEN-EN 16325 as a common standard for the Guarantees of Origin. G-REX is and will remain compatible with this mandatory regulation.
EECS, ERGaR and CertifHy
On top of this mandatory regulation there is a thriving voluntary layer of industry agreements. European Energy Certificate System (EECS) has been the leading agreement since the RED I in 2009. G-REX will always be EECS compatible.
G-REX also supports all energy carriers, such as Electricity, Gas, Hydrogen, Heating and Cooling. G-REX is also will support other widely accepted industry agreements, such as ERGaR and CertifHy.
