Full Package, and Tailorable
The G-REX is a combination of API-first standard product (G-REX Core), Public Website, and the registry user interface (G-REX App). Out-of-the-box G-REX provides state-of-the-art registry for European GOs for all energy carriers.
G-REX Core is designed to handle wide variety of national deviations and custom certification schemes in a smart and efficient way. In addition to the energy certificates the G-REX can flexibly support other certificates and environmental commodities, such as carbon removal certificates, palm oil sustainability certificates and carbon emission offsetting projects. In essence, any certificate or commodity that needs to be booked in a registry, can be transferred between participants and finally is claimed for specific use is well supported by the G-REX.
G-REX Core with the APIs handle all the business logic. G-REX App is a graphical user interface for the registry functionalities that are available from the G-REX Core APIs. G-REX App provides intuitive and beautiful user experience to all users, see User Experience. The logical separation of G-REX Core and G-REX App makes the development of the business logic in the Core and the UI in App very efficient. In other words, the Core can meet the requirements coming from changing regulation in fast manner, and new, tailored, user experiences of G-REX App can be developed with high freedom.
