Grexel to offer new Hydrogen and Biogas registry services in Finland

 

New RED II energy carriers live in the G-REX platfrom, Grexel’s registry solution, as of April 2022

Grexel, part of EEX Group, has been appointed by the Finnish TSO Gasgrid, to provide combined Hydrogen and Biogas registry services in Finland through their unique platform G-REX. This announcement paves the way for more Hydrogen tracking and completes a series of successes for Grexel: the Helsinki based company recently won the Energy Community tender to provide registry services for eight Eastern country, confirming its leading position as energy certificate registry provider in Europe.

Guarantees of Origin for electricity are a major instrument for end-customers to have reliable information about their energy origin while enabling to channel additional funding for the energy transition. Through these new registries, Grexel will play an important part in expanding origin tracking and markets for all energy carriers across the European Union.

Registry services for Hydrogen and Biogas will be delivered through G-REX, a solution designed by Grexel and integrating its 20-year expertise in providing registry services. In addition to being seamlessly designed to handle the complex regulatory requirements, the platform is made to answer customer’s demand for efficient and easy-to-use solution.
