Introducing Aleksi: Our energetic summer trainee for 2023!
We are thrilled to welcome Aleksi, our dynamic summer trainee, who joined our team at the beginning of May. Aleksi brings a wealth of skills and a passion for software development, UI/UX design, and programming.
As part of his summer responsibilities, Aleksi will be focused on testing UI for Grexel’s G-REX and implementing automated UX tests. With a possible future inclination towards UX design, Aleksi’s contributions will surely be instrumental in enhancing future user experience of G-REX.
Aleksi has seamlessly integrated into the team at Grexel. “The welcoming work environment, combined with the flexibility of hybrid work arrangements, have made the transition a breeze.”, he notes. “I’m grateful for the supportive atmosphere and the chance to contribute to the green economy. In my opinion, green energy alternatives are not just the future, but they are already shaping the present!” Aleksi adds wholeheartedly.

Aleksi is currently pursuing a master’s degree in Software and Service Engineering at Aalto University. He is excited to apply his academic knowledge to real-world scenarios through his trainee position at Grexel. This opportunity will serve as a platform for him to learn and further develop his skills in his field of study.
Notably, Aleksi has been a dedicated volunteer in the student community in Otaniemi. “This involvement has not only expanded my network of contacts but also created amazing friendships.”, he says with a grin. When he is not organizing events and building connections with people from diverse fields of study, Aleksi enjoys cooking, playing floorball, and listening to music.
