Grexel provides Registry Services for environmental commodities, such as Guarantees of Origin. Our solutions are mainly used by Issuing Bodies that are appointed to be responsible for the reliability of the Guarantees of Origin systems in their respective domains. The registry acts as the central bank for the commodity. For example, in the case of Guarantees of Origin, this means that the GO is issued, transferred and cancelled in the registry. The Issuing Body remains responsible for the functioning of the market.
